Welcome - Bienvenidos

Thank you for visiting my blog about Santeria in Denver, Colorado.  My name is David - in Santeria I have crowned Chango with the name Oba Addele [The King's Witness].

I am a member of the Ile Echu Oba Nigue, whose founders are my God Parents, the blessed Grieco and Yuneisy.  We practice the Havana style known as Lukumi, and come from the branch know as Atare [black peppercorn].

We are also Paleros, practicing Palo Mayombe, a related African religion coming from the Congo by way of Cuba.

Our Ile is strong and we have many santeros, paleros, and hundreds of aleyos [believers] in the Denver area.  Our community includes people from all walks of life, including Cubans, Mexicans, Americans, and more.  We welcome all into our house and are here to help with any questions that you have.
